To book an appointment at Parkbury House, please call the surgery on 01727 851589 during our opening hours, and our trained receptionists will assist you in allocating the correct appointment type.
Surgery appointments are available daily and routine appointments are available up to 2 weeks in advance. Parkbury House booking advisors are trained to enquire about the nature of your concern and whether your concern can be resolved through a specific appointment type or clinic.
If your concern is a NEW concern, it will be assigned to our Triage Service, and added to the triage list on the same day, or following day, depending on triage appointment capacity. Our duty doctor will call you to discuss your concern, and if required, you will be invited to attend a same day appointment. The duty doctor can also provide advice and/or a prescription which can be collected from your local pharmacy.
If your concern is ONGOING, then you will be offered a Telephone Appointment. A doctor of your choice will call you in their morning or afternoon session. This service is useful for medication reviews, chronic illness management, prescription requests, test results and general medical advice.
Nurse appointments are available daily and are bookable up to 4 weeks in advance.
Interpretation/Sign Language Support
If you have difficulties communicating in English, or you would like to have a sign language translator, please notify a member of our reception team, who will be pleased to organise an interpreter/translator to accompany you at your appointment.
