A severe leg injury three months ago required dressing three times per week, and now I need further specialist treatment from an Ulcer Clinic. All the nurses who carried out dressings gave me great confidence that my care was in good hands, typified by Christina who saw my wound first and then today last at Parkbury House; she always gave me confidence, but also checked signs very carefully, resulting in additional courses of antibiotics. “It will be fine” she often said, not gratuitously but as an earnest assessment. I was invited to have a flu jab. It was very easy to book in and I didn’t wait one minute at the sand ridge site. The team were wonderful and very helpful despite having internet issues. It was sweet and shot. I’m very pleased with the experience.
