Appointments for travel vaccinations are considered non urgent. If you are a patient travelling to an area which requires advice or vaccination we ask that you arrange a telephone appointment with our nursing team.
If you require a vaccination you may ask your nurse to book your appointment. This is crucial as vaccinations may need to be administered up to 6 weeks prior to departure.
If your request is for a whole family vaccination then we may need to split up your appointments depending upon the number of people in your family/group. An appointment for each person travelling is required.
Please note that Malaria tablets are not available on the NHS. You may request a private prescription from your GP or purchase from a chemist.
Vaccinations which are only available on a private basis will be chargeable and this information is available during your telephone consultation with a nurse.
