Clinical Pharmacist

Parkbury House Surgery is currently looking for a Pharmacist to join our busy practice. The Practice-based Clinical Pharmacist will improve the quality and safety of care offered to patients of the PCN. They will have regular contact with patients in the Practice. They will also support the management of patients with long-term conditions.

The role is between 20 and 37.5 hours a week. Salary dependant on experience.

Pharmacy Technician

Parkbury House Surgery is currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our busy practice. The Practice-based Pharmacy Technician will improve the quality and safety of care offered to patients of the PCN. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of our Clinical Pharmacists. Pharmacy technicians play an important role, complementing clinical pharmacists and other members of the PCN multi-disciplinary team.

The role is between 20 and 37.5 hours a week. Salary dependant on experience.

Care Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Care Coordinator to work between 20 and 37.5 hours a week. This role is a newly created role and is part of our newly formed Primary Care Network (PCN), established to enhance patient services and improve our local patient health. The role will contribut to the improving quality of care of our patients across the network of practices.

Receptionist/Call Handler

Parkbury House Surgery is currently looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Receptionist/ Call Handler to join our busy & friendly Reception team. General Practice is changing and so is the role of the Receptionist. We are looking for someone enthusiastic with the ability to adapt and grow.

This is a part-time role, negotiable between 16 and 24 hours per week and will require an 8:30 start and/ or 19:00 end. There is an expectation that you will be able to work at least one Saturday morning a month.

Care Co-Ordinator

The three St Albans Primary Care Networks (Abbey PCN- The Maltings Surgery, Lattimore and Village Surgery; Alban PCN- Grange Street Surgery, Midway Surgery and Parkbury House Surgery; HLH PCN- Hatfield Road Surgery, Harvey Group Practice and The Lodge Health Partnership) are excited to recruit a Care Co-Ordinator who will have specific responsibilities involving IT and the upcoming winter’s vaccination campaigns. The successful candidate will have sufficient IT experience to be able to quickly pick up the emis web clinical system to facilitate the vaccination campaigns. Please see the attached job description for more information. The role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2022 with a start date as soon as possible. The role will be based at one practice with the flexibility to travel between practices as necessary so a full clean driving licence is required. Salary to be discussed and dependent on experience.
